'Designing is like a journey with ups and downs, twists and turns, and you're sometimes not sure where it will end – but you love the challenge, the risks'.
It seemed natural for me to make the decision to study fashion design while I was living abroad. After seven years of wondering what career I may take after fulfilling my childhood dream of becoming a dancer after years of training, it appeared I had come full circle and I was back following a career path using the creative element of my mind. With the amazing support of my partner, family and friends, it is easier to follow this path of fashion and all it entails – the hard yards, and the rewards. Experimenting with shapes, styles and draping has led me to this stage in my designing and I'm showcasing those pieces that best depict my flair and range of ideas as a fashion designer.
